Arcline by RACV (Royal Automobile Club of Victoria) is a relatively new addition to the Australian energy market. It is supported by Energy Locals.
Arcline’s offerings are limited. It only offers a single simple electricity plan in Victoria. 100% carbon-offset electricity at no additional cost is a bonus.

Solar Energy & Solar Feed-in Tariff
You can get a solar feed-in tariff of 6¢/kWh in Victoria.
While Arcline does not offer any solar energy products, RACV offers solar solutions such as solar panel installation, battery storage, electric vehicle charging, and hot water heat pumps powered by solar.
Billing and Payment Options
You can pay your Arcline bill by direct debit, credit or debit card, or BPAY.
You can also choose Smoothpay for bill payments. Smoothpay is a payment plan where you pay the same fixed amount in fortnightly or monthly instalments to avoid bill shock.

Does Arcline by RACV have a VPP?
No. A VPP, or Virtual Power Plant, pays you for letting the retailer draw on your home battery at peak times. As at July 2026, Arcline by RACV does not offer one. Retailers that do are compared on our VPP page below.

Arcline by RACV offers time of use plans, the plan type a battery pairs best with: charge when power is cheap, discharge through the evening peak. RACV runs a VPP for business sites only, there is no residential battery program on Arcline.
